Women

“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.”

II Peter 1:3 (NIV)

The Women’s Ministry is a spiritual support group that encourages self-identity and community outreach for the women of Brown Missionary Baptist Church and surrounding communities.

The Women’s Ministry takes a holistic approach to serving and ministering to the whole person (mind, body and spirit). Unlike any other sisterhood, we believe that God connects us to share life together and to grow stronger in faith.

Our ministry is comprised of four teams: discipleship, service, fellowship, and new members.  Each team provides a myriad of ways to build Godly relationships, outreach to the community, and devotion to Christ.

Annually, we host Women’s Month in August which includes Women’s Weekend, Women’s Tea, fellowships, and other interactive activities.

We endeavor to be a resource that leads to healing of broken hearts of women from a spiritual, mental, emotional and physical perspective. Our focus is healing the hearts of women, from brokenness to wholeness.

We invite you to join us for our ministry meetings every second Thursday at 6:30 PM at the South Campus 7200 Swinnea Road in Southaven, MS (classroom 331/332).
