Outreach
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
– Acts 1:8 (NIV)
Here at Brown, we have a heart for serving! Our Missions Ministry is called to encourage and evangelize by way of our GPS – Give, Pray, and Serve! While serving virtually and locally, we strive to fulfill our calling of going wherever doors are open to share the word of God and His power. We frequently provide local outreach to the homeless by preparing and distributing meals, working with children in underserved communities, hosting donation drives, and more!
Brown’s Missions Ministry is consistently creating compelling avenues to love others through service. We are always looking for committed volunteers who are passionate about doing the work of Christ and developing into life-long disciples. Become a volunteer and share your generosity with God’s people by signing up to receive updates on service opportunities on VOMO (volunteer management platform) vomo.org (use code Volunteer2022)

Mission/Evangelism
We are a worldwide ministry that is unashamed of boldly proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and His love for all mankind. Our intent is to go wherever doors are opened locally, nationally, and internationally to speak the truth of Jesus Christ and His redemptive power that saves souls. Participants are welcome to serve monthly during our local outreach opportunities which range from feeding the homeless to working with inner city youth. We also welcome participants to join us nationally and/or internationally during one of our annual mission trips.
Prayer
The prayer ministry exists to honor God by promoting His House as a House of Prayer for ALL. (Isaiah 56:7)
