Membership Care exists to make sure no one walks through life alone at Brown. Our teams provide one-to-one Christian care, support groups, health awareness, family connection, ministry to our military families, and a thoughtful welcome for every new member.
Find a team that fits your gifts and season
Stephen Ministers provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to people who are grieving the death of a loved one, hospitalized, lonely or discouraged, unemployed, in a crisis, or facing life transitions — walking alongside anyone going through a difficult time who could benefit from the care of a supportive Christian friend.
Promoting whole-person wellness across the Brown family through health education, screenings, and resources that help our members live well in body, mind, and spirit.
A faith-rooted community where those affected by cancer — patients, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones — find prayer, encouragement, and practical support.
A safe, supportive space for those living with lupus and their loved ones to share, pray, and walk through the journey together.
Compassionate care for members and families in seasons of need — hospital visits, bereavement support, and prayer that reminds every soul they are loved and not alone.
Connecting Families Ministry helps families thrive. Our mission is that every child, family, and individual would experience positive, long-term outcomes as they are connected with community support and resources.
To establish and maintain contact with members serving in the military; to serve as a resource for service members, their families, and veterans of BMBC; and to extend God's love to our nation's active duty, veterans, families, and community supporters — providing hope and support to those who serve or have served our country.
The New Member Ministry's focus is to lay a common foundation of understanding and teaching for new members — covering BMBC's vision, our beliefs, basic Christian doctrines, ministries, and services — to support the spiritual training and growth of every new member.
Membership Care happens because faithful servants show up — to listen, to pray, to bring a meal, to make a call. Step in and help us love the Brown family well.
