pastor steelman mainWade was raised in central Tennessee where he graduated from high school, and then studied at Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham Al, earned a BBA from Faulkner University and a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as pastor, associate pastor, minister of education, minister of music, minister of activities and recreation and as collegiate ministries pastor ranging in churches from small to mega across the deep and Mid South. He has served as the director of missions for the 70 churches of the X-tended Missions Network here in Northwest Mississippi and later served as a national church consultant, adjunct instructor for a seminary, and most recently served a Baptist church in Southern Maryland as their Associate Pastor. Wade has helped numerous churches through difficult transitions, serving as their interim senior pastor, until they could find their permanent Senior Pastor. He has served in numerous international countries, teaching, assisting church plants and leading both collegiate and marriage conferences. He and Tracy have been married over 33 years, and they have three daughters, all who have married men now serving as Baptist Pastors. They have six grandchildren and counting! He loves Alabama football, running, painting impressionistic works, working on old cars, working with wood, drawing and designing, and plays numerous instruments poorly, being the best at acoustic guitar, but still needs work! His life verses are 2 Timothy 2:2, and Galatians 2:20. If he could retire anywhere in the world, it would be Singapore, Malta or Wroclaw Poland.
