Wall of Jerusalem

The Wall of Jerusalem is a special way for us to commemorate this historical year for Brown and funds from the Wall will ensure that we complete the last projects on our South Campus (debt-free) and finish the year strong.

  1. What is the deadline for participation?
Although we will continue the Wall into next year (because our goal is for every member of Brown to be represented on the wall), our initial goal is for at least 1000 members to complete their gift before the end of 2014.
  2. What amount is being requested?
Initially, to reach our goal of 1.25 million dollars, we asked each individual person to give at least $250. However, to keep from excluding anyone and limiting our maximum potential, we have asked everyone to give their “Best Sacrifice.” So pray, and between you and God, decide what you can sacrificially give.
  3. Can I give on behalf of someone else?
Yes, many have done “In Memory Of.” Some businesses have placed their Business Name on the Wall. Others have placed their favorite scripture. Someone even gave so that “Jesus” could be on the wall.
  4. Can we give as a couple?
Only individual names are being placed on the wall.
  5. Can non-members give?
Yes. We are so grateful for our faithful friends who sow into what God is doing at Brown.

She lives confidently in the knowledge that Christ died and rose for her so that she can experience the significance of the destiny to which she has been called. In Kingdom Woman, Tony Evans and his daughter, Chrystal Evans Hurst, remind women of their calling from God to be free, delivered, healed, and to have hope. The authors bring insight that encourages women to correct distorted perceptions and understand who they really are in Christ—never settling for less when connected with the One who gives them hope. Small Groups

THE VISION
The small groups ministry at BMBC is designed to grow members spiritually, shepherd members more effectively, develop relationships among believers, and develop leaders within the church body.

We envision you in a small group community of friends fully devoted to the Word, Worship, Warmth, Witnessing and Working. It is here you will connect, grow deeper with God, find fellowship, mutual ministry, and support.

“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25)

THE TIMING
Our small groups are on a semester schedule. Each semester we will launch groups that last between 4 and 13 weeks. Semesters may vary depending on the Bible topic and group type. A few groups will run during the spring or summer months (e.g. young adults).

  • Semester I: September thru December
  • Semester II: January thru May
  • Spring Session: May thru July

THE SIZE
Discipleship Groups typically consist of 7-15 people; however, Growth and Ministry groups are typically much larger.
Are you Connected? It’s time to get plugged in. We’re waiting on you.
